You will be responsible for exploration, conceptualization, and execution of creative for our clients Facebook ad campaigns.
The ideal candidate will be a thought leader and innovator in digital design. This person wants to lead Abacus into the future by developing new formats, strategies, and ideas we can use to make our creative communication stand out. They will be in tune with what’s hot in design/creative but can push the envelope beyond these trends. Our ideal designer wants to create buzzworthy, thumb stopping creative. They are able to be creative but stay on brand and strategically align their creative with the brand’s campaign goals. Taking initiative, originality , and attention to detail are your core principles.
About The Role:
- Work with the advertising team to conceptualize, design and develop creative for client advertising campaigns
- Provide idea suggestions and graphic translation of ideas during/following brainstorm meetings to meet all project objectives
- Create mockups of ads that may be subject to change following client review
- Design cutting edge and eye-catching graphics for ad creative to communicate the client’s message and drive action
- Ad Formats will include: static images, cinemagraphs, animations, video
- Support our internal marketing team in creating graphics for collateral like blogs, presentations, case studies etc.
- 2 + years of design experience in a digital environment; agency experience a plus
- Ability to clearly communicate design ideas and concepts
- Must have experience designing various types of ads on Facebook (static images, cinemagraphs, animations, video)
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, After Effects), and other design/ animation tools
- Strong understanding of typography and its use in digital media
- Very strong attention to detail
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and manage different projects at the same time
