Our squad is growing so we wanted to share the individuals that drive the machine, the Abacus. Meet Adam Risbridger our Director, Customer Success.

1. Where is your hometown?

I’m originally born in Stockholm, Sweden, but I grew up in a small town called Ludvika. Since then, I’ve lived in Australia, England, and most recently in Dublin, Ireland. Favorite place so far has been Perth, Australia!

2. What drew you to Abacus originally?

And how has Abacus changed since?

After spending almost 5 years at Facebook, I wanted to go back agency side and join something early on. I was looking for an agency with the right mindset and approach to data and Facebook (rare!) and found Abacus after a long time searching. It’s a perfect match!

3. Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us.

When I was a teenager I played drums in several metal bands and colored my hair black.

4. What is the one thing, you can’t live without?

Really long iPhone charging cables, like the 3+ meter ones.

5. What is the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?

A Guinea pig hot dog I had in Toronto this summer. I still regret this almost every day. Sad.

6. What is on your bucket list?

Building a recording studio.

7. What is your claim to fame?

My friend’s wedding was aired on TLC and in some scenes I can be seen in the back of the church.

9. What was the best lesson you’ve learned? How did you learn it?

That the happiest teams I’ve come across at work are always the ones with the most freedom to explore new ways of doing things.
